great access to landmarks and delicious local eateries
I really enjoyed the easy stroll to the Mission Gallery, just over a kilometer away, and the proximity to lovely restaurants like The Raspberry Cakery, which was only a few steps away, made my weekend all the more delightful. as a solo traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff, though the bathroom design was quite cramped.

Had a lovely 2-night stay in a Classic Double Room and it was perfect after a long journey. The surf and turf at the bar was huge and delicious. We enjoyed a relaxing evening in the hotel with live music. We did have a bit of hassle with the lift being out of order but overall, it didn’t dampen our spirits at all! 😊

The breakfast variety hits the mark with a fantastic selection, from fresh fruit to hearty Welsh options. The room decor showcases a touch of elegance, and the in-room amenities are solid, offering comfort during the stay.
On the downside, noise levels can be troublesome, especially with the sound of revelers echoing through the corridors. Room size is noticeably cramped, particularly in my Classic Double Room, where one side of the bed was pushed literally against the window. Maintenance issues popped up too. a cracked mirror and broken chair didn't lend to a feeling of luxury. there were delays in service at the bar, making it far from efficient if you're looking to grab a quick drink.

Had an awesome stay with friends! We loved exploring the stunning coast and checked out the famous Marina followed by a day at the beach. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast had everything you'd want. Definitely recommend for a group getaway.
The mattress in our room was a bit worn out, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

The Grand Hotel had its ups and downs. I loved the spacious balcony room. the view was really nice, and I could wave to my daughter in Seren. The roast lunch blew my mind. It was easily the best I’ve had. Breakfast choices were incredible too—meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, and even avocado dishes. The staff were so helpful and made us feel welcomed. the hotel shows its age. My husband had decorated our room, but the dented bathroom door and the soft mattress that rolled us to the middle were noticeable issues. The room overlooked a busy road, making it noisy at times. Some cleanliness lapses bothered me. we received dusty coffee mugs, and the hallways needed attention.

Awesome stay with great staff!
We stayed in the penthouse suite for an anniversary surprise. The hot tub on the balcony was epic! The staff helped out with all our requests, even holding our surprises for later. Breakfast was a hit, but the coffee could’ve been hotter. All in all, a fantastic experience!

Comfortable stay with friendly staff
I recently stayed for 2 nights and appreciated the spacious, clean Classic Double Room that came with a comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and cooked options that set a positive tone for the day. I did find the housekeeping service to be a bit inconsistent, needing attention in some areas.

A pleasant experience overall, though there were a few hitches. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the clean, modern decor made for a good atmosphere. I really enjoyed the breakfast options, which were quite impressive. the room was on the smaller side, and the noise from the surrounding area made it hard to sleep, especially with the window open. Still, a nice place for a short stay while exploring the city.

Oh mate, the roast lunch was hands down the best! And that breakfast spread? I’m talking fresh fruit, sumptuous meats, and even smashed avocado on toast! Plus, the ambience was spot on for a good natter over brekkie. The staff were ace, always eager to help!

the whole hotel was amazin, staff were super friendly n greeted us nicely, location was perfect too, just a 14 min walk from town center n right above the train station exit. the room was even better than expected, clean n fresh smell, everything in the room was on point. breakfast had a lot of good choices, way better than usual hotels!
only issue was some light switches didn’t work n the bathroom was kinda cold. also, the check-in took a bit longer than i expected.
